COVID-19 PANDEMIC

By mid-March of 2020, the spread of the novel Coronavirus caused the governors of Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky to individually issue stay-at-home or shelter-in-place order urging its residents to remain at home and avoid large social gatherings.

Many cultural organizations are closed as a result. Inevitably, some organizations had to furlough their staff, while others continued to work from home.

All in-person meetings were canceled including the 7th Annual Meeting at Willard Library, the Wonderful World of Digitization, and the field trip to Grundswald Gallery at IU Bloomington.

All events in 2020-2021 were held virtually.

"The Huddle" Series

"The Huddle" Series offered a space on Zoom for members to "huddle" and tackle unusual situations that have arisen as a result of the pandemic. Members are invited to make topic suggestions and participate in the discussion every other month on the second Tuesday at noon.
